This does not go down well with villagers as they frown on Kousalya playing sports with boys. However, with the support and affirmations of her father, Kousalya is able to continue her practice. Her unique off-spin bowling fascinates all the cricket fanatics and this also paves her way for a career in the sport. However, the road to success is not an easy one and Kousalaya faced many hardships on her way. From internal politics, discrimination to finance and logistical issues, Kousalaya and Murugesan will have to face it all. To top this, Murugesan is burdened with repaying a loan of Rs 4 Lakhs. Will Kousala be able to make her father proud? Will she be able to represent the country in international crickets? How will Murugesan repay his debt?
