Thirumalai is a small mechanic, rich at heart but not rich with money. He falls in love with a girl named Sweta, who is the daughter of a rich owner of a TV channel. Sweta and Thirumalai fall in love with each other over a course of time, but their love is not acceptable to Sweta's father, who thinks of Thirumalai of low status. When his displeasure does not stop his daughter from meeting her lover mechanic, he makes other plans to stop them.
